Selecting the proper device will depend upon the relative height of the arch of your foot. For lower arches, choose the LOW (Black); for a medium height arch choose the MID (Blue); and for a higher arched foot choose the HIGH (Green) StepCraft insole.
StepCraft insoles give you premium support, perfected by years of experience in creating custom orthotics at Northwest Podiatric Laboratory. The thin design of our insoles assures they will fit into most footwear. Three different heights (LOW, MID, and HIGH) mean you will get the proper fit to your foot type.
StepCraft is the only premium insole based on over 60 years of positive patient outcomes from an industry-leading custom orthotic laboratory.
The deep connection between StepCraft and Northwest Podiatric Laboratory ensures our insoles fit seamlessly in your shoes, support your feet, and ultimately allow you to do what you love – whether it’s a relaxing afternoon stroll or crossing the finish line at the big race.
We call this connection (or link) Link2™. StepCraft insoles are your “link to” or “connection to” superior foot pain relief and performance solutions that simply work. Further, we use Link2™ Technology as shorthand for the exclusive custom orthotic-inspired design, material, and biomechanical features built into every pair of StepCraft insoles.
We’re a small, employee-owned company (approximately 45 people) based in Blaine, Washington. Our insoles are made in the USA of US and imported materials and supported by fully US-based customer support team.
StepCraft is laser-focused on applying everything we’ve learned crafting millions of pairs of custom orthotics to create accessible foot pain and performance solutions that simply work.
StepCraft insoles were created using the time-tested proprietary heel and arch shape created by Northwest Podiatric Laboratory for their custom foot orthotics for over 60 years. The semi-rigid shell of the StepCraft devices works with the shape to help align the foot and lower body, enhancing proper biomechanical function.
Everyone! StepCraft insoles are designed to fit and enhance your everyday footwear for premium comfort during the day.
You want to make sure the insoles properly fit inside your shoe. In some cases, trimming the edges will be necessary. For best results, line up the original shoe insert to your StepCraft insole and trim the excess material.
If the insoles continue to squeak after trimming, add some talcum or baby powder inside the shoe first then reinsert our insole.
It’s important to occasionally clean your insoles using mild soap and warm water.
Rinse well after cleaning and let them air dry.
Please do not dry them near a heat source.
Also, please do not use a washing machine or dryer.
StepCraft insoles are designed to provide amazing support and are crafted with quality materials. Under normal use, StepCraft insoles retain their support for 12 months.
Since StepCraft is born from a custom orthotic laboratory (Northwest Podiatric Laboratory) that’s crafted custom orthotics for millions of patients since 1964, we know that your mileage with StepCraft insoles may vary (literally).
Many factors impact the longevity of StepCraft insoles:
- Weight of wearer

When the foam and cloth top cover of your StepCraft insoles are worn out, it’s probably time to consider purchasing a new pair.
Yes, trimming is recommended for proper fit into your shoes.
- Remove factory insert from shoe then place onto your StepCraft insole making sure to center the heel portion together. Please make sure the left insert is on left insole and right insert is on right insole.
- Trace and then trim the excess material using scissors.
- Insert your StepCraft insoles into your shoes.
