However, if you have very flat feet or very high arches, you may benefit from more specialized support. In that case, consider consulting a healthcare professional to explore a custom solution tailored specifically to your needs.
TRIMMING AND FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove
Remove the factory shoe insert from the shoe and place it on top of the StepCraft insole.
2. Line up & trace
Line up the factory shoe insert and StepCraft insole, being careful to align the back of the heels and inner (big toe) sides. Trace an outline around the factory insert with a marker.
3. Trim
Using scissors, follow the marker line and carefully trim the StepCraft insole to remove excess material.
4. Insert
Insert the StepCraft insole into the shoe. Check for fit and make any adjustments. Repeat to fit other insole.
TIPS FOR A GREAT FIT

Before trimming your StepCraft insoles, insert them into your shoes and test the fit. Because they’re designed to work with a variety of shoe styles, you may find they fit comfortably right away—no cutting required.
Different shoes, different fit.
Since shoes differ in shape, depth, and fit, one pair of StepCraft insoles may not work for every pair you own. For the best comfort and performance, you may need different insoles for different shoes.
Measure twice. Cut once.
Take a cautious approach when trimming your StepCraft insoles. Begin with minimal adjustments and test the fit as you go. You can always remove more material to refine the fit.

StepCraft insoles are designed to be used with the factory shoe inserts removed from your shoes. For non-removable factory shoe inserts, StepCraft insoles can be placed on top if the inserts are relatively thin and flat.
BREAK-IN PERIOD
We recommend a short break-in period as your feet adjust to your new insoles.
Day 1–2: Start slow. Wear your insoles for 1–2 hours at a time in low-impact activities like walking or errands.
Day 3–5: Gradually increase wear time to half a day. Pay attention to how your feet feel as they adapt to the firm support of StepCraft.
Day 5–7: You can typically move to full-day wear, including moderate activity.
After 1 week: Most users are fully adjusted and can wear their insoles all day, every day.
Helpful tips:
- Mild foot or arch fatigue at first is normal as your muscles adjust.
- Wear supportive, well-fitting shoes for the best results.
- If you experience pain, consider removing your insoles and consulting a professional.

Selecting the proper device will depend upon the relative height of the arch of your foot. For lower arches, choose the LOW (Black); for a medium height arch choose the MID (Blue); and for a higher arched foot choose the HIGH (Green) StepCraft insole.

You want to make sure the insoles properly fit inside your shoe. In some cases, trimming the edges will be necessary. For best results, line up the original shoe insert to your StepCraft insole and trim the excess material.
If the insoles continue to squeak after trimming, add some talcum or baby powder inside the shoe first then reinsert our insole.
It’s important to occasionally clean your insoles using mild soap and warm water.
Rinse well after cleaning and let them air dry.
Please do not dry them near a heat source.
Also, please do not use a washing machine or dryer.

- Remove factory insert from shoe then place onto your StepCraft insole making sure to center the heel portion together. Please make sure the left insert is on left insole and right insert is on right insole.
- Trace and then trim the excess material using scissors.
